Yolanda Ortiz-Parker, Choir Director

​

Trained Mezzo Soprano with Degrees in Musicology from University of North Texas State and Opera Performance from Wichita State University.  Yolanda trained in New York City and Italy among other places prior to making Cincinnati home base. Among roles performed throughout her singing career, are Sukuki in Madame Butterfly, the Mother in Amahl and the Night’s Visitors and Baba in Menotti’s the The Medium. 

 

Yolanda and husband, Rob have a son, Roberto and daughters, Kara and Katherine. Retired from solo work, Yolanda enjoys a career at STERIS Corporation where she leads in the Supplier Diversity program.
